When people talk about weddings, they often refer to it as your “big day” or the “best day of your life.” But weddings are an entire season, not just a single day. When you look back on your wedding, you’ll remember the experience—the engagement, the planning, the dress shopping, and the champagne. The day of the wedding is a tribute to everything that came before it.
But it’s more than that, too. It’s the culmination of your relationship, the pinnacle of the life you’ve built as a couple. And the joy you feel on that day is absolutely the sum of those parts, not just the day itself.
Because I know these things to be true, I allow my role to be bigger than just the day. Because I’m in charge of documenting the details you invested so much time in, I love to be a part of the visual planning process. I love when a bride texts me while she’s at the florist, asking about centerpieces. I love when she wants to know which vintage earrings go better with her dress. I love receiving Pinterest boards of potential color schemes. I will be as involved as you invite me to be.
